I am an Oakland-based writer exploring questions of identity, culture, and belonging shaped by my experiences as an immigrant straddling multiple worlds. Born in India, raised in the Middle East, and educated in Texas and Canada, the different facets of my cultural and geographical identity clash and connect in surprising ways, inspiring much of my work. I’m always experimenting with different forms of writing, with poetry being my favorite medium for capturing life’s complexities.
My work has been published in Unbroken Magazine, Bending Genres, Flash Fiction Magazine, and other outlets, and I was a reader for Palette Poetry in 2025. I’m currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University.
